Hello!
My name is Vanessa — Owner and founder of The Raconteur Collective. I love documenting real moments, mostly love — but also capturing any kind of story for that matter.
I, personally, came from a background in film which I took as an associates degree when I first moved to America from the Philippines back in 2009. After graduating, I started working in the film industry on several productions and commercial shoots. When my cousin gave me an opportunity to film her friend’s wedding, I took it and fell in love with the craft. It takes a lot of work, time and effort to put together an event so it’s so important for us to make sure we capture every aspect of it!
I also love meeting and working with people. I have a very chill demeanor that gives my clients a sense of peace and calmness but I’m not afraid to party it out when the time calls for it! Not a lot of people can say that they love their job but I LOVE MINE! And so does my team!
